Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning

Project Description

Client: Department of State Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning
Value: Undisclosed
Duration: Ongoing

Program: 2022 to current

Our contribution:

3U Consulting had the privilege of supporting the Queensland Government’s Hydrogen Program, an initiative designed to harness the state’s renewable energy resources and position Queensland as a leader in hydrogen production and export.

The Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning (DSDILGP) identified the need for greater visibility to the status of program scope. In particular there was an immediate need to understand and present the scope in an Integrated Master Schedule, including the identification of key schedule interfaces and dependencies and any potential issues.

Our engagement focused on providing expert Project Management Office (PMO) services to develop an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and deliver a high-level report on the program’s status. The program encompassed a range of activities managed across several government departments and Government Owned Corporations, including:

• Department of Energy and Public Works
• Department of Resources
• Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning (DSDILGP)
• Department of Regional Development
• Coordinator General’s Office within DSDILGP
• Queensland Treasury

This project highlighted 3U Consulting’s ability to deliver high-quality PMO services under tight deadlines, contributing significantly to the Queensland Government’s vision for a sustainable and economically resilient hydrogen industry. Our team’s dedication and expertise facilitated enhanced project visibility and coordination, laying the groundwork for the successful implementation of future hydrogen initiatives.
